AS now waives cancellation fees on awards. There is no need for a waiver for elites.

For partner award bookings.
Partner award bookings made on or after May 1, 2021 may be canceled online for no fee.
AS-only awards don't book into X (Saver)-
they are considered Main Cabin for the purposes of cancellation/changes even when under 12.5k (5k/7.5k/10k). I'm able to select exit row on a 7.5k
award booking (which would not be possible on a Saver cash fare).
