I can understand the need to get to Hawaii and it's easy for me to say how mad I would have been from the comfort of my home office but I would have called the EXP line right there at the gate and held up the plane as much as possible and call out the gate agent who gave away your hard earned SWU seats to. Simply by calling AA in front of that agent would have really riled her up. I HOPE you got her name and make a full report of it. It's hard enough getting SWU seats these days only for them to be given away because some rouge gate agent wanted to board her friends in F at the expense of cutting off boarding times early.
