Has anyone here gotten kosher meals at Ventana? i corresponded with them months ago and they gave me a menu of set basic meals (think egg salad, baked ziti) prepared by a chabad kosher food provider in Monterey and said they would be included instead of their restaurant food. Now my reservation is monday and they are suggesting there is a surcharge of $70 for breakfast, $90 for lunch and $140 for dinner, and this seems kind of crazy. the meals themselves are costing the hotel way less, and they aren't plating or anything, just dropping them off at our room (of course we will tip). anyone have experience with this?
All's well that ends well, they just want a $100 fee for the accommodation/delivery through the whole stay. That's very reasonable to me. Good job by them (and im excited for next week)!
