Milwaukee business journal reported that the rate of children hospitalized was decreased by about 20% during this past traditional “flu season”. They imply it was related to hand washing, mask wearing and social distancing that led to less respiratory infections.
I personally have adjusted to having a mask on nearly at all times outside my home or private office space, when in a closed confined space. No mask when outside and active. I’m an otherwise healthy individual and have no problem breathing through a mask comfortably. Prefer to walk the golf course, thus fit enough to walk about 6 miles without issue (that’s probably the limits of my tolerance - no running 5Ks for time or 1/2 marathons in my future).
It’s now just habit to grab and wear a mask as I walk out the door, probably will just stick with it. That being said I have ditched the neck tie, that’s probably also not coming back as well.
