Here's a somewhat different perspective. For a honeymoon or romantic trip, widebody D1 seats might not be the best choice. The cabin arrangement makes it difficult to talk to another passenger or be able to touch each other easily. It seems to be designed for single business travelers. A 757 with flat beds would be better (but this is hard to "guarantee" as equipment changes) or even a flight with domestic FC if this is what you want for your honeymoon flights. OTOH, if you simply want the best and most "luxurious" experience, take the D1 MSP-HNL flight (also for getting a good night's sleep on the plane) or alternatively the SLC connection to the nonstop to OGG using D1 equipment.
That's a good perspective, but honeymoon or not, we are fine not sitting "next to" each other on the plane. In the past we have booked economy and sat away from each other with no problem, she speed reads, and I will watch tv, and have a drink until I fall asleep.
