Also, forgot to mention: Mom received two calls around 18:45 or so on Day 1 (today) from an unknown London phone number, and did not pick up in time to answer it successfully, with no message left. After the second time it rang she was concerned it might be the "quarantine police" and dialed it back. Sure enough, a very nice guy named Mohammed answered, and proceeded to ask a series of very polite and innocuous questions about whether she'd booked the test to release on day 5, whether we were quarantining, whether we'd left our flat, etc. She answered the questions and it seemed fine other than interrupting our supper to some extent. I have not received any calls as of yet.
