Some years ago I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Parramatta. I think it is the Park Royal now. It was rather dated as was Parramatta, but the really cool thing was that the hotel was next to a boat dock where you could take a transport boat along the Parramatta river to the Sydney CBD. It was beautiful trip through a lush green belt that made you feel very far away from civilization. Vastly nicer than driving by road. I hope that option still exists for this new IC.
