I had to cancel my 2020 honeymoon to the Maldives and am in the process of rebooking for April 2022. There are so many new hotels that I didn't see before and would really love some advice.
Our priorities are
1. Beautiful clear waters with nice reefs for snorkeling
2. Pretty good food
3. Water excursions like fishing/sailing
4. Spa (for me heh!)
Our budget is about $3,000-$3,500 a night for both room, food and activities. I was looking at Kudadoo since it is all inclusive for around that price, but I am worried that the island is small and we might run out of things to do. I do like the access to Hurawalhi though.
Other favorites are One & Only, and this was in fact the resort we had booked before and had to cancel. I've read good things about Nautilus. Unfortunately I think CB and Velaa are out of our budget.
Do you have any other favorites or recommendations? Thanks so much for your advice!
Kudadoo is indeed tiny, but for the budget and considering the all inclusive part with all the activities they can put together and also that you're only there for 4 days not 14 or 24...you'll be fine.
