I doubt they will increase the Reserve AF right away. A few years ago when AMEX first increased the AMEX Plat fee from $450 to $550, it took about a 1 1/2 years for the Delta AMEX Reserve to follow on the price increase and they also updated some benefits at the same time as well. The fee structure between the Reserve and AMEX Plat isn't also 100% in sync. For example the Reserve Card fee to add an authorized user Reserve Card holder is $175 per additional card added but the AMEX Plat will give you up to 3 additional authorized user cards for a flat $175 fee. If the Reserve does indeed increase to a $700 annual fee, there is a 90% chance I will be downgrading it unless there is some great new benefit is added along with it.
