We just had a really poor stay at this property in Richardson over the weekend. We had booked 4 nights but cancelled after the first night and moved to another property.

They could give a crap about Globalist or even Hyatt memebership. 500 points in lieu of breakfast. Mind you the restaurant is open and functioning. No upgrade. Weird corner room with uncomfortable chairs, no artwork whatsoever, and a 1980's style tub/shower combo, 2 smallish towels in the bathroom and nothing that would make you think Regency at all. Third-party parking so you can't just put it on the room, you have to fiddle with an app, and of course no points for it. Only thing nice I can say about it was the Hyatt bed/bedding was Regency-grade... but the rest was tired/dated or just ugly.

And... the best part - we left to get some lunch and returned to some bizarre kiddie pageant event checking in. Blaring music, screaming kids, no one wearing masks, cramming in the elevators despite the 4 pax per elevator, and a 20-minute wait for the elevator even at that since it appeared only 2 of the 3 were working. We canceled the rest of our booking, got up at 6 the next morning, and rolled out the door before most of them got up but what a $ht$how!
