Hi All

Due to Covid I haven't been to DXB for over a year and I am looking forward to fly there within the next months, UK legislation on travel permitting.

I have seen that the new St Regis is supposed to open in May (this month) after an initial opening planned for 2018. Does anybody now if the opening is now on track? I can only see CGI renderings on the website. Does anyone have insights if this is going to be a property worth staying at - with good restaurants or at least a great pool? Not sure if the hotel will have a beach access?

I would be keen to see an 'actual' St Regis in Dubai with the same service like the one on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi - and not really interested in the soon to be rebranded Renaissance....
