We just completed our third visit to PH Hadahaa and our sixth visit to the Maldives. We have also stayed at WA, Conrad, and St. Regis. We planned the trip about a week out after we had to postpone a trip to Turkey. Pre-arrival communication was good; we were able to get on an earlier domestic flight than initially planned, so our total time in Male was less than an hour.

Overall, I agree with Jermyn; the PH remains our favorite for its understated aesthetics and natural feel. Occupancy was very low during our stay, and while there are many new faces around, some of the staff from previous visits remain. Overall, I thought the service was good and found the villas to be well maintained.

We did not notice nor have issues with the screaming kids mentioned upthread, and that may have put a damper on our experience if we did. On previous visits, there have been many well-behaved kids on the island. We hope to return before the end of the year.
