Your original post is lacking some details... what is your current ticketed routing and dates? Is your current ticketed award flight on the 10th? Honestly, it might be easier just to stick with that option if you don't want to purchase a ticket to leave a few days earlier. Getting an award rebooked will be difficult...

Pre-COVID, AA award options from KTM included KA (HKG), EY (AUH), and QR (DOH). I believe QR is the only award partner flying from KTM right now and, as you note, the QR flights that aren't already cancelled appear to be completely sold out for the next few weeks. Your best option might be to purchase a ticket to either DEL, KUL, or DXB (I see revenue space available on all those flights) and then try to rework an award home from there. That being said, you will need to check the feasibility of transiting these airports given current COVID restrictions. Hope that is helpful.
