Absent other factors (like crew time out if one flight is longer than another), the likelihood that an airline move swap planes in this scenario is slim. If they did, they'd end up with delays on two flights instead of just one.
And potentially putting two crews off their schedule, ending their trip in the wrong city, violating crew rest requirements the next day, etc., if both outbound crews weren't scheduled to overnight in ECP. WN would probably rather take a delay than deal with the logistical issues and cost of getting the the crews back on their schedule.
