With checked bags you would probably have to pick them up and meet the Qatar check in deadline.

When are you planning on going.

I would summarise that most of the time it would probably be ok but it could be costly if you are delayed.

I appreciate the thoughts......another mitigating factor is this is all around Easter 2022. I spent some more time this morning with the itinerary after I posted my query and worked it so that we are in Athens at the end of the trip which should eliminate any island to mainland travel snafu.
