Given what has been posted here, I suppose it's borderline impossible without Japanese documentation to acquire either an ANA SFC or JAL Club A card? I thought I was lucky to have access to US credit cards with my SSN, but it seems like Japanese people have some really nice and interesting perks available to them.
You can't get OWE, but you can get a reduction of qualifying level required for OWE. Only OWS.
In the scheme of things, I think the US credit card market has far more perks to offer than the Japanese.
