Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel [Master Thread]

I couldn't find a thread on this property, so apologize if I missed it.

My friend and I spent a night at this property recently (after the ban on indoor dining was implemented). It was my first time here, and I thought the hotel was very good and very reasonably priced compared to the alternatives. We both applied SNAs and they cleared 5 days before arrival (corner suite with city view). The day before check-in, we sent messages via chat asking for a harbour view if available. We were both further upgraded to harbour view suites even though it was only a sliver of a view between skyscrapers. Both suites were on the 5th floor which had a bonus of a huge wrap-around balcony with a couple of chairs on it. (None of the other floors had balconies from what I could tell.)

As expected, the lounge was closed due to the pandemic. We were offered a full breakfast and a choice of 1000 pts or $10 F&B credit as a welcome amenity.

Even though BC has a ban on indoor dining, we were told that we could order breakfast from the restaurant, but we would have to go pick it up to enjoy in our rooms. The menu was great and we were allowed to choose an entree, juice and coffee/tea. Unfortunately, it was served in a take-out box with plastic cutlery, but everything was very good.

The location was great as it was a short walk to the harbour. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
