There was a lot of talk about how the priority has to remain safety of passengers and crew, from the virus, and the ongoing need to wear PPE at all times (even when sleeping) and the likely introduction of an IATA travel passport, which will show your negative test status, allowing you to have contact free, paperless travel from check in to arrival and subsequent clearance.
Did they have anything to say about how UK citizens can transit AMS or CDG to final destination, in particular to other EU countries they are allowed to enter? For example, I have a business trip soon to Spain and I will have documentation to support this to enter Spain. Flying via AMS is the most convenient route but because I do not have specific permission to enter The Netherlands I do no think I can cross the Schengen boundary in AMS.
