The TK app might have issues. It probably shows the regular Elite renewal rate which is 25k miles in the first 12 months.
Have you taken any TK flights yet or only partner *A flights until this time?
that's interesting. I was quite confused when I read the instruction, as most other flyers report back what you've said—1st flight doesn't count. TK's communication doesn't seem to be quite consistent, as anyone reading the instruction would assume the 1st one coutns towards 15k.
