Does Delta issue the covid 'safe travels' wristbands (HI)?
For months now every other airline (AA, UA, AS, HA, WN) has done so and has issued the wristbands to pax who have the requisite covid-19 test, to avoid a lengthy delay upon trying to get out of the airport upon arrival. Just flash the wristband and stroll right out. But, it's been on the news how Delta refuses to cooperate with the covid entry protocols (just like DL was the only airline who didn't, and still now a year+ into this has not, done anything to make the required covid testing easier by partnering up with some service providers for that, be it at or near the airport, mail-in, or otherwise - as every other airline has been doing since long ago last year).
Is that still so the case? Is DL still the odd man out in that it's refusing to check its pax QR code and issue the wristbands at the boarding gate, as all other airlines are doing?
Or has DL been finally shamed into complying and issuing the wristbands on its flights to Hawaii (domestic and/or int'l) upon checking the pax "Safe Travels" QR code at the gate?
I can't find any information on this on the DL site, while all other airlines are up front and center about how it works and how one can get the wristband at the boarding gate. Any recent experience? Anyone been on a DL flight to HNL/KOA/OGG recently? Wristbands or still no wristbands?
