i am concern about using Uber/Lyft for trips to more remote locations on Maui. The return is always a little iffy especially if the cell signal is not certain. I read that Maui is somewhat bike friendly. Not sure how many Hawaiian Islands are bike friend. Hard to imagine Waikiki being bike friendly.
Don't think you could bring an e-bike on plane? Battery too big? $405 is not too bad though. I was reading that people were paying over $1k for a week a month or so ago. Enjoy your trip!
