GlobalPass awards on KLM are a bit of a mystery as far as availability goes. However, miles needed has not always been clear. I think it would be safe to assume the requirements would be two awards and hope for it to be one. As you would have to transit AMS (Europe) zone, this is a lot of miles for 40K.
