Checking in at IHG hotels is always a big inconvenience to me. Even though I am Spire, I always have to show them ID and in many cases have to give them (or they have me swipe) the credit card I am going to use. Then I have to fill out the usual paperwork.
As Hilton diamond, I simply walk up and tell them my name and that I do want to use the credit card on file. As simple as that.

I would be very happy if IHG just simplified check-in the normal way.
