Recently finished another excellent stay here. First time not getting an appreciable room upgrade in 7 stays (received a regular ocean view king - see picture below) - but I did reach out ahead of time saying I would be happy to forgo a room upgrade in lieu of a late checkout for my quick one-night stay. 4pm late checkout confirmed prior to check-in, showing this property really does try to work with its Globalists. Breakfast is back at Ambersweet for Gloablists and still exceeds required breakfast benefit with entree, small plate, coffee, and juice included. While umbrellas cost extra at the beach, they were readily available poolside when I got down there just after 10am. Also, Globalists still provided with additional welcome gift (I chose the two free drinks and received two large mojitos poolside). Overall, another excellent stay.
