Any non-EU/Swiss residents have recent experience transiting ZRH on separate tickets? I now have one-way SFO-ZRH tickets and will be buying a separate ZRH-ATH connection on LX. I support I could also purchase the connection to a non-EU destination (i.e. ZRH-IST) but I don't want to be denied boarding for first flight because the tickets are on different record locators. Thanks
