Marriott has removed our ability to see all hotels while searching on their website
Anyone else noticing the same thing?
What I mean is, you used to be able to search for rooms in a particular city and then once the results came up, there was a box titled "Show Available Hotels Only". If you checked it, they would only list the hotels that had availability for the dates entered. However, if you unchecked the box, it listed ALL the hotels in the area, even the ones that were unavailable. It also showed hotels not opened yet but had an estimated opening date.
I tried tonight to search hotels in my destination city and when the search results came up, the box was there and checked for literally less than 1 second. then it disappeared. I tried to go to filters and find it but no luck. It seems Marriott is now blocking users from unchecking that box or even being able to find it for that matter.
I never understand why these IT workers decide to make changes that they think are for the better, but are anything but.
Unless I am missing it or just can't find a way to uncheck that box or even see it for more than 1 second - I think this is terrible and I am an Ambassador.
Am I right that there is now no way to selected ALL hotels? If there is, any help would be appreciated. Also is it doing that for you all too? I mean that box only showing for 1 second at the beginning of your search and then disappearing? Thx.
