It sounds like the EU's ban that includes travelers from the US will be revised to allow vaccinated and/or negative Covid-19 test results to enable visits from the US during this summer. But it's to be seen if all Schengen countries go that way at the same time, or if some/many Schengen countries do while some don't (until later).

Seems to me like the EU is more eager to open up to US travelers earlier than the US is to open up to EUropeans; but it's still only April and there is time for the situation to change before summer comes to the US.
