Arriving in JFK from HND (JAL) on Monday. Then have a connecting flight to SEA at 6 PM on Monday and another connecting fight to DEN on Tuesday at 11 AM.

I will have 1 checked bag, which I will need to collect after immigration in JFK and drop it off at alaska. What happens if I drop the baggage at alaska airlines but not take the SEA and DEN flights? Will the bags still go to DEN?
