Stein Eriksen Residences Deer Valley No longer SLH

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stein Eriksen Residences over President's week and I wanted to finally take the chance to write a review as it was literally the nicest accommodations that I've ever stayed at. We originally booked with points which was 40k per night for a standard room but I called before check-in to see if there were good areas within the hotel to get some work done quietly if I had to. The lobby of the hotel is very nice but it's small unlike the Stein Eriksen Lodge lobby which you do have full use of as well and but it's about a mile up the road. They didn't have a work area for me but I was offered to upgrade to a two bedroom residence for what I thought wasn't too much of a ridiculous nightly price above and beyond all the points I had spent so I went for it.

Am I glad I did the upgrade, the room was spectacular! It was about 1700 square ft with all super high end finishes, 3 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, a full kitchen & dining room, washer dryer, and a deck with a grill & hot tub. Breakfast was included and available for pick up every morning down at the hotel's restaurant which was really good as well. The ski valet and the whole staff in general were the best I've ever experienced from a service perspective. As far as the skiing goes, the valet has your skis outside and ready to go each morning. The lift is a short run down to the base and at the end of the day you ski right up to the hotel, it can't get any easier. We also skied Park City and had dinner in town a couple of nights during our stay. The hotel has an on demand shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go in Park City, it was very easy as well. Below are some pictures from our stay, if your a skier I'd HIGHLY recommend adding a stay at the Stein Eriksen Residences to your bucket list. We will definitely go back one day.....

That was a Stein Eriksen home right across from our room. It appears these sell in the 6 to 8 million range.

The rooms across from us, they are all essentially expensive condos that someone else owns. The hotel only has a limited amount of standard rooms, the rest are condos like we stayed in or residences.

The view of Deer Valley from the restaurant in the hotel, the pool area was beautiful as well. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the pool but it was very nice too. (You can kind of see it in the far right of this picture)

The living and dining area, it was very comfortable.

Our dog Bella loved the beds!

My son's favorite was the hot tub. They drained it while we were checking in and added fresh water for our stay.

The view from the deck at the Stein Eriksen Lodge, it is a very nice property too it's just not as new as the Stein Eriksen Residences. After being in both properties I'd definitely stick with the Residences.

This review wouldn't be complete without a look at Stein Eriksen's trophy case!

I hope you enjoyed the quick review. While the Stein Eriksen Residences is not an actual Hyatt property it's bookable through the website and has to be one of the nicest accommodations you can find within the Hyatt ecosystem. Truly an unforgettable, bucket list type of stay and property. Worth every point and penny spent!!!
