Thank you Kacee, Jaimito, and Brittex! We have been to Phoenix 5 or 6 times but only in budget lodging. Were there once in July and the temps never got out of the low 90s. Phoenician is what Mrs. Element immediately picked as her first choice, although she'd rather return to Puerto Rico, but I will continue to monitor this thread and will check recent reviews at TA.
