I have a trip planned in August, but have not gotten comfortable with indoor dining in general yet....
I can't imagine why they wouldn't allow you to take food from the club, as I've never been to a Hyatt (or any hotel) club where they don't allow you to take food/drinks out. We did that several times in prior visits to this club, e.g. take breakfast back to the room, walk over from the pool in the afternoon to grab some drinks, cookies, snacks, etc.

Agreed on the other benefits, as we frequently enjoyed the afternoon snacks, dinner options, and desserts. We also took food from breakfast some mornings on hikes. I'm hoping those options will be available this time around as well.
