Regarding the discussion on the Danish App.
It has been established the EU Digital Green Certificate is intended to be a voluntary scheme. A paper certificate, issued by another EU country, grants the same right.
In that sense not granting a person access to certain services in an EU country (because this person only can show a paper vaccination certificate) would be deemed illegal.
Hence, in my eyes the Danish App (and the way it is handled in Denmark) is repulsive and these practices should be banned.

Some more information on the EU digital immunization certificate from a German language newspaper:
https://www.tagesspiegel.de/politik/.../27094558.html

1) The scheme is voluntary. EU residents/citizens can still use their yellow paper certificate as backup. These people won't be disadvantaged.
2) The scheme is designed for government authorities to quickly decide whether a traveller has to be tested/sent into quarantine or can enter the country without these requirements.
3) Each EU country can decide for themselves whether to waive testing/quarantine requirements for people who either present the digital or paper-based immunization certificate. Poland (e.g.) may decide that proof of a Sputnik-V vaccination is NOT going to waive testing/quarantine requirements.
4) As mentioned before there won't be an EU-wide central database which saves all vaccination records.
5) This is important in my eyes: People can decide by themselves whether their vaccination record is saved in the country's vaccination database or not. If they say no -> the yellow paper certificate will grant the same rights as the digital immunization certificate. If they say yes -> then the vaccine record is saved in the database and the certificate system can pull this record and create the barcode for border control agents.

Here is my verdict. There is no complaint from side. I (and probably a lot of other people) will not participate in that scheme, because I do not want to have my health data saved in a database. Instead I will carry the yellow paper certificate with me instead and show it when prompted.
