Can't really recommend it. Had J ticket on LH. At this point of time Americans can't visit business lounge. The lounge in the international area (G gates) was closed and immigration wouldn't allow you to get into one within the Schengen (A gates) downstairs (because COVID).
I was blessed I was able to snag the last room at the transit hotel, ~$200 cost, worth it.
Wow, that's horrible! I did not realize all the lounges were closed to non-Schengen passengers. I don't think I've ever transited FRA where I did not spend some time in the LH Business lounges (usually in B or Z).
How does it work for non-Schengen passengers who will be transiting to ATH? Presumably treated the same as those going to Russia?
I guess we should not expect lounge access until Germany re-opens to visitors.
