Being in row 5 will not cause you to automatically drop out of first if there are lower priority passengers in the other 4 rows.

I was coming at this more along the lines of keeping the family together, should we all make the cut.
I assume the folks in Rows 1 through 4 who stay in first, keep their seats vs. a complete re-shuffling of the cabin?
