Can one use a SWU on an LH flight in booking class S or T? I know this was possible earlier this year but seem to have seen somewhere where this has now been changed so that it matches the UA limitation of W and above. Can someone confirm. Thanks.

1a. Lufthansa Standby: This upgrade may be used on a standby basis, subject to availability, on the day of travel on any eligible Lufthansa flight following in accordance with the terms and conditions of this certificate,
except when booked in LH booking classes X, I, O, R, N and E. Please note: This upgrade requires a 14-day advanced notification to Mileage Plus in order to print and mail the certificate for presentation to Lufthansa on the day of departure.
So if the T's & C's have changed UA/MP have yet to update the website. Not sure what is printed on the paper cert? Maybe you could ask MP?
