The thing I've never understood on SWA is that the seats are the same seats. No more legroom, no better drink service or freebies, right? (it's been a few years so maybe things have changed?). What do I get? Priority boarding so maybe I get an exit row for an additional $300? Sure, you get more rewards or whatever. I've just always seen this as a way for employees to stick to their employer. The route I typically flew was PDX>LAS and it just seems like the "get away" fare was $69 and everything else was $300+. I just don't understand what you are getting.
