Good article and thanks for sharing. To me, the comparison is a bit apples/oranges. I'm out of PDX and Southwest was great when I flew 2-3X a year to Vegas and maybe once to Hawaii. But now I find myself flying a lot more and the perks Alaska offers me are better than anything I could get on SW. I still love SW and think they are a great company (I own a bunch of their stock). I just think their core target markets are a bit different.
