Does anyone have pics of the bassinet set up / or where it would be located? Just trying to think what’s the best seat for a couple with baby? 10 A and 10 D? Ideally wanted the E/F but would rather have the bassinet I think.

Mine is a 787-9.

PS Can’t choose bassinet seat online, is that normal or have they been taken? I guess will try over phone.

Hi, I don't seem to have a photo and its hard to describe, its also been a while now since we have been an a plane so trying to remember, but the bassinet sits on top of the shelf/vacant seat somehow. If you imagine the empty part of another seat or the void from not having another seat that sticks out, where the other passengers feet would be I guess. The basinet sits on top of this, not sure how much help that is... Anyway I think it depends on how old your child is? We found basinets only really useful up until a bout 9 months. After this we were better of selecting better seats than a seat for the bassinet. If this is the case either choose an A or K where you have the seat against the wall, which is better for the baby, but means that you will be separated or E and F where you can pass the baby between you both.

Also you can never select bassinet seats online in our experience. Depending on who you get sometimes also not over the phone, only on check-in. Normally we select the best alternative seats to not having a bassinet and then if we get it at check-in its a bonus, that said I don't think we have ever not gotten one in the end.
