For AAdvantage's 30th anniversary I think I got 100 miles in the "mystery miles" promotion. This time around I've already scored more than 4500 miles and it's only half over so I'm definitely not complaining about the promo overall. It's just that the enthusiasm with which they push the practically worthless coupon codes is kind of amusing.
I also take it as a major diss to the midwest that every losing spin lands with the central US front-and-center on the globe. Apparently AA's Fort Worth TX headquarters counts as "Charting Off-Course".
