I'm not sure if this is a popular opinion, but I don't really like 2E because 1) I don't think there is an appreciable amount of extra legroom 2) you can't see out the window without leaning forward and looking through the one in the emergency exit door 3) I have to stuff my relatively rigid backpack into the tiny overhead since there is no floor storage.
