Hotel am Wasserturm in Cologne joins the
Curio Collection later this year. It will be the second Hilton Family Hotel in Cologne and is currently undergoing renovation. It is built within an old water tower in the southern part of Cologne and therefore not as centrally located as the Hilton next to the main station.
I stayed at Hotel am Wasserturm many times years ago, my favorite hotel in Cologne beside the Hilton. Used to be part of Small Luxury Hotels group then and is listed as historical monument. Hosted Michelin star restaurants. Interiour by French designer Andree Putman. Was in need of renovation even that time. Not far away from Cologne Cathedral but in a quieter location. Happy to hear it will be a Curio soon after renovation.
