We already missed out on one funeral (my maternal aunt), my cousin then had to get married here without his remaining immediate family, my mother is still desperately hoping she sees my nephew’s graduation before she kicks the bucket.
But even without our Australian family links, we have very much the same problem getting back into Hong Kong, too.
So why in the world are you not bothered by this or upset over this?
You seem to think that the vaccine rollout should not be urgent and should not be top of agenda - yet this is THE ONLY THING that will get people like you, me, and tens of thousands reunited with our families.
