Usually governments don't publish reports of this sort unless it essentially reflects central thinking. So I think the report still stands and I don't think you will hear much more before early May when the traffic light countries get identified. And as you know better than most, it's very unclear at this point how the pandemic will look like in Europe and globally more than about 2 weeks ahead. Had there not been a period of official morning, which finishes tonight, then all HMG would have done on Monday is have the PM saying a few words in a Downing Street briefing, effectively personally endorsing it, but that is as far as it would have gone. The leaking and pre-leaking process prevents reports like this being chucked straight into the dust bin, silly though it is this leaking process is also a testing process.
Thanks, I was still expecting some sort of endorsement of it as it was only a recommendation and more news on whether LFDs can be used for the test before arriving back in the UK?
