Hello, I got 5 nights booked at Palace Tower for 240k points. I am debating if I should book Ocean Tower for $1,200 cash instead. But, I noticed that the Hilton Waikoloa Village and Ocean Tower by Hilton Grand Vacation are considered two separate hotels when booking. Ideally, I like to be in the Makai Tower but it cost too much by points or cash. As a Diamond, what upgrades do you get? Do you think it will matter which tower I am currently booked at?
I have stayed in the Ocean Tower 4 times in the last 3 years or so, and as a Diamond I was upgraded from a resort view to an ocean view each time. Various floors, but each time I was on the golf course side of the center "bulge" with a balcony that would let me see water without too much strain. I had hoped to get one of the "oceanfront" rooms that look straight out onto the water, but no luck yet.
