Anyone familiar with this lodge? Is it worth splurging on the tree house suites on the island or are the tents by the riverside just as nice? Which of the two places is best for spotting wildlife?
I'll be able to tell you in a month... I'm booked for one of the treehouses (actually I think the star beds rooms) next month. I Wass originally booked for the tented rooms but I figure with social distancing and the last year and a half it was worth a splurge for the view since its one of those once in a lifetime trips. I was less certain about upgrading from a tree house to a star bed but I think those also come with massage that I would have probably gotten either way too, so that narrowed the price gap. I'm hoping the elevation of the tree house will make for a better view and hopefully sightings.
