Priority Pass will need to either severely reduce annual fees or quickly forge new partnerships with multiple airline-owned lounge networks. Plaza Premium was a major key to the appeal of Priority Pass.
Yeah, having the AMEX Platinum or higher somewhat compensates for this (only 1 guest with AMEX), but rumors are AMEX will jack up the annual fee by about $150 come July. They get you from every direction.
