you may, as I mentioned in a recent thread find that by booking the car hire for 6 days or more not only gives you the deposit option but drops the overall cost of the trip by a not insignificant amount.
Er.... you can book the car in a place and on a date that's totally misaligned with your flights???

That sounds both completely illogical and also a great opportunity!
