We have flown this many times, sometimes using a companion code. (you know it is frequent when the FA knows you)
It looks like Sunday, Thursday and Saturday for flights to and back, right now. AS is always changing schedules, so could change or be reduced.
We always looked at flight schedule first and then booked lodgings from that.
You can check flight schedules by going to Where we Fly header and entering LAX and ZIH with different dates under Destinations.
Just checked for November 2021, and it looks like daily then.
