Thank you for the fast reply, and I apologize for not being clear. I have a Chase 2-4-1 voucher that has never been used. Is the FlyerTalk approach to:

- book a one-way random flight with the voucher, with low Avios cost
- immediately cancel the booking
- have the voucher converted to a FTV voucher with a April 2023 expiry

Are there any nuances I should be aware of, aside from ensuring the companion name is the individual I will ultimately want to travel with?
