Really surprised Am Ex would close an account oer that seeing your high fico score and only being one month. It has to happen a lot with people forgetting to update bank accounts.
I had a Dillards account years ago and they didn't have a payment option back then and I used a banks bill pay service back when you had to enter the mailing address and Dillard's changed their lockbox and I missed a payment and they not only didn't close the account they waived the interest and late fees since I paid it in full every month.
